Do ordinary Americans have the right--and the responsibility--to determine America’s ultimate population?

America has the highest birth and fertility rates and the fastest population growth rate of any developed nation in the world. It also has the largest population of all the nations of the world except for China and India. And it will join those two nations in the “One Billion Club” unless we take action now!

Then why does our tax code favor large families? Why are businesses encouraged to import labor? How many people does America want? How many people do we need? How many people to support its economy? How many people to enrich its culture? How many people to uphold its laws? How many people to preserve its lands and to protect its air and water? How many people to defend its citizens and assist its allies?

How many are “too many” and who decides? Agri-businesses and multinational business leaders? Human smugglers and other lawbreakers? Farmers and food processors? Foreign governments and non-governmental organizations? Hotel owners and motel operators? Immigration attorneys and ethnic activists? Land developers and building contractors? Politicians and political elitists?

Isn’t it time for you and your fellow citizens to make those decisions?

The Population Fix invites you to view America through a new lens. It helps you connect the dots between America’s environmental and societal problems and the nation’s addiction to population growth.

Is an America of one billion people the America you want to leave to future generations?

The Population Fix invites you to decide.
